The "Saydisc Traditional Series"
The 1972 catalogue stated that the intention was to release "...one or more LP's by the legendary exponent of the Northumbrian small pipes - Jack Armstrong." As it turns out, only the one LP was issued, leaving SDL 252 as the only record in the "Saydisc Traditional Series" for almost ten years. Ironically, the next LP of Northumbrian small pipes from 1985 (Richard Butler, The Perfect Triangle, SDL 345) was in a completely different series, the "Border Keep Series".
