Parlophone & Parlophone-Odeon label designs
Below are all known UK label designs for Parlophone and Parlophone-Odeon catalogue sequences that included classical repertoire between the end of WW2 and the end of 1959. All sequences are mono. All sequences concentrated singly on classical music, unless stated.
78s
I am still trying to source a decent example of a 12" Dark Blue series E sequence label.
The 10" Celebrity Series (RO prefix) and 12" Cetra Series (R.3xxxx sequence) label designs are identical to the 12" Brown Label Celebrity Series label below (this has scanned to look almost black, whereas it is really a very dark brown).

LPs
The Black Label series was a popular music sequence including popular classics.
7" SPs (Short Play)
The SP format, now better known as 'singles', was confusingly originally viewed as a Long Play format (i.e. stacked on an autochanger record player, as per earlier 78 'albums'). The first releases, all from EMI, had a large centre hole as per the original US RCA Victor format, for playing on early 45 rpm players with large spindles.
