Relational database design & development books
The books are available as print-on-demand. The links below take you to the Lulu website product pages.
This book can be used irrespective of which database software you intend to use to built the database.

Database Design Made Easy presents a revolutionary new method for designing your relational database. You don't need to know any theory - if you can draw how you want to enter your data into your data entry screen, then you can design your relational database. A little-known nugget of truth is that your data entry screen tells you everything you need to know about the underlying relational design.
The technique described in this book pulls you gently through the design process and it comes as something of a surprise to discover that you have designed your database without pain and almost without realising it. For anyone who has tried to get to grips with relational design and failed (i.e. the majority) this book and the technique described within will come as a welcome relief.
The intended audiences for this book are small to medium sized business owners, hobbyists and researchers. Basically, those that have a pressing need for a database - want it right now, today - but who don't want to spend weeks learning relational theory (not that learning about relational theory, nor the required months of dedicated application of theory to reality, guarantees coming up with a correct design).

The book, although stating for use with Access 2013, can be used with all currently supported versions of Access.

Building Relational Databases Made Easy provides you with the building blocks for building any relational database from a paper–based design – it doesn't matter if your database design has two or two hundred tables, this book tells you exactly what you have to do to build your database using Microsoft Access.
Many database books do little more than run you through the features of the particular package covered, but without quite getting around to telling you how to build a database. This book, however, lets you get on with building your database quietly and without fuss.
The book shows how to progress from nothing but a paper–based design (see Database Design Made Easy above) to a working relational database. As we jog through the worked examples, the concepts are explained in simple, jargon–free language, so that those who have never built a database before (in other words, the intended audience for this book) can keep up without trouble.
It also has a nice painting of a heron at Slimbridge on the front cover, so you have something pleasant to look at when you're fed up to the back teeth with database development - it happens to us all at some point during the development phase!
